ALC Practice by RTNLC

This App is created by the Royal Thai Navy Language Center (RTNLC) so as to be a self- learning resource accessible to anyone, anywhere, and anytime by using mobile phones.

The application consists of 4 parts:

Part I ALC Books

This provides the explanation of general grammar rules. They are categorized by book levels (12-30), such as sentence structure and language usage. Also, lists of vocabulary with sentence samples are presented. The word pronunciations are provided and able to be replayed as needed.

Part II Dictation: Speech to Text Exercise

This part of the App (grouped into three levels of Intermediate, Upper-intermediate, and Advanced) will check learners’ ability to convert speech into text. This skill is essential for success on the ALC listening test.

Part III Matching (Thai-English Word Match) is prepared to test learners’ ability to match the meaning with the correct words.

Part IV Unscramble (Sentence Structure)

This is designed to test the understanding of the structure of English grammar rules by rearranging words into the grammatically correct sentences. The sentences are grouped into three levels of Intermediate, Upper-intermediate, and Advanced.
